5 Tips for Tradicional Selling

1. List of prospect's profiles

You first need to have a clear objective and even if you are cold-selling, you must have an outlined profile of your buyer to make things easier, so start by writing a list of the profile of the prospects that you are interested in.

2. Classify them

Once your list is done, classify them, that is, identify who from you list best matches the guidelines that you'd want a client to have. Also add the following information:

  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Other suppliers he might have
  • Does he have a product/service like the one you offer

3. Choose your action

Once you list is done, do any of the following options, depending on the prospect profile:

  • Face-to-face selling. Approach them directly.
  • Contact them first in order to get an appointment.

4. Positive Attitude

In either case, you attitude must always be joyful and optimistic. Let the client speak, since he'll share information that you can also use to sell. Even if you're on the phone, your attitude will be nonetheless perceived and it'll be key to getting an appointment... or not!

5. Close that Sale!

Guide your conversation to the point where you close the sale. Ask questions such as: What do you need to take the decision? Which day should I pay you a visit so we start working on it?

Internet as a Selling Strategy

In addition to these tips, it's important to also consider the technology that we now have at hand as an option. Internet is a great tool to:

  • Support your sales strategy
  • Open those doors that would help you learn more about your customers, based on their web pages or on directories of their industry

When creating a website, it's very important that it's filled with good-quatlity content, one that would keep your target audience interested. This will help them to better understand the added value of what you do.

Keep in mind that there are agencies who's only job is to attract more customers to you website so that you only focus on serving your clients, while they work on the Digital Marketing Strategy. Don't hesitate contacting the agency that would best serve your company's purpose, remember that you're placing in their hands what your company should value the most: your clients.Tips for Traditional Selling Techniques.
